Bulletin Board Cut-Outs

I had to design different bulletin board displays for my school. I used construction-paper collage for these displays. This image is of Norton, the class bird, going on vacation and pointing to all the children's travel compositions.

This collage cake and girl were used for a Birthday Board. My students colored in my illustration to add their own touch. The cake itself is made entirely of collage paper. The strawberries were made with tissue paper, which gives them a more delicate texture than the rest of the pastry.

Enchanted Paper Doll

My work as an English teacher this year has allowed me to draw tons of teaching tools. This is a paper doll activity my students used to name different articles of clothing. I used Giselle, a Disney princess from the film Enchanted, as the doll so that the kids got a bit more into the activity. 

Squid-Ink Pasta & Totoro

I wanted to find a way to thank my boss for inviting me to a squid-ink pasta restaurant so I drew some of his favorite Totoro characters eating this messy treat. Character credit goes to Miyazaki Hayao, a brilliant Japanese animator.

Hachi The Akita Doodle

Drawn for a Japanese friend that loves Akita dogs. The story of Hachi (Shibuya Station, Tokyo), is a tale of one dog's devotion to his owner. In Japan, the tale serves as an allegory that stresses the importance of dedication to loved ones.
